At least one of Sony's digital cameras looked attractive, (I haven;t bought anything at all yet) but are you aware that Sony uses its own proprietary storage media, which is not compatible with anything else in the world? --doug At 09:02 05/27/2002 -0400, Hipolito A. Gonzalez M. wrote:

Hi!
I have a question about digital cameras. Where can I find a list of supported cameras? And, is there someone using a sony digital camera with linux?? How it's going? I plan to buy a Sony Digital Camera but I really don't know if the product will work, so please if someone got a model working, tell me which one? I have a list of interesting models... DSCP50, DSCP51, DSCP71
Thanks Martin
I'm using a very good camera, the Nikon 990, and I never connect it to my linux, I bought a CF Reader and connect it to the USB port and use like a SCSI disk.
