Pretty much just followed the instructions for redhat. I did use yast to do the install (rather than rpm from the command line)and would just install a couple of rpm's at a time then exit to the main menu so that SuSEconfig would run (to make sure that dependencies were met). Also I didn't install anything that the instructions didn't ask for.
