I always edit /etc/resolv.conf. That file does get overwritten by dh client. It is the standard Unix/Linux file for setting up the DNS servers. On 23 May 2002 at 22:26, Keith Jacobs wrote:
Can anyone advise how to set-up the DNS search order within SuSE 8 as one would for Windows? I have a Win98 box running both Vpop3 (email server) and Vsocks Light (proxy server and firewall). Yes I know this is available with SuSE but I have got to get certain things working and know how first. I am able to both use and log into Vpop3 but not able to access the Internet. Regards
