No. I have not tried to change installation media. Yes, I'm using Yast2 to update packages. In fact the package xsane was not picked up in the update so that's when I found the problem. I can hack and drag the rpm down from CD number 3 and then install it by hand but it rather defeats the object of buying the cd's in the first place. I want to use Yast2 to look after it for me. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve. On Thursday 09 May 2002 22:16, you wrote:

Hi everyone 7.3 to 8.0 update no problems from the cd set. Everything worked. Now I try to install a new package and I get (e.g):
Please insert CD 2. Could not mount the source medium. mount: error while guessing filesystem type mount: you must specify the filesystem type
The very same CD I'd just installed from. I can mount and read other CD's perfectly.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Steve.
