Hi I'm new to Linux & SuSE and am having problems getting the mouse, a Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse, to work in SuSE. I have tried editing XF86Config without success and have now downloaded a replacement driver. Unfortunately I can't complete the SuSE configuration until I can get the mouse working, so I cant get access the Internet in SuSE as I need to configure Samba to access my proxy server. The replacement mouse driver is a tar of 1.7Mb and on one of my Windows drives on the dual boot WinME SuSE 8.0 system. So can someone help me to access the tar in SuSE from Windows and then advise how I install the driver?
