With LinNeighborhood in 7.3, all I had to do was install the smbclient etc., packages from CD (no config required), install LinNeighborhood and run it. Now with a clean install of 8.0, NADA! The sucker can't find any 'Bloze box under a query. Anyone have an idea what it takes to get it running?
Thanks!
Fred
I think you have to configure the master browser under preferences. It should be the name of the host acting as a samba server. HTH. Regards. - -- Alfredo J.
