Hello list / owner,
I am setting up sendmail in my lapptop.
While this host is called petit.montblanc.homeip.net, I do use the email address pep@serrano.net (managed by netidentity).
Everything works fine... I mean I can send emails form pep@serrano.net that actually are from pep@petit.montblanc... Except that I can not write to SuSE lists. Instead I have to send my email to the list through the SMTP of netidentity.
Is there anything I can do in my side to be able to send messages to the list with my local sendmail using a "fake email"?
Cheers, Pep Serrano.
Go to /etc/mail and edit genericstable to read: pep pep@serrano.net run SuSEconfig (to re-generate your mail aliases and such...) Hope it helps, Alvaro -- Hope it helps, Alvaro Novo SuSE 7.1 Pro -=- Kernel 2.4.17-4GB -=- KDE 3.0.0 10:48pm up 10:14, 2 users, load average: 0.08, 0.11, 0.09
