hi. Musi we Tue, Apr 2002 nenguva dza 12:49:42PM -0700, greg@space.cfi.co.ug akati:
When I try :
#mount /cdrom I get the error:
"special device /dev/cdrom does not exist"
do you use scsi-emulation at all? maybe for cd writing?
and so i tried:
#mount /dev/hdc /cdrom -t iso9660 and got error:
"/dev/hdc: unknown device"
(I've always been able to use my cdrom on /dev/hdc) Trying all the other /dev/hd*'s didn't yield much luck....
Does anyone know what could be wrong?
