It does absolutely nothing but run fine in Linux. I can't accout for what it did to Win98..so many things can boink Win98. I doubt very much it was Mozilla...and which version did you use...I've been using Mozilla under Linux fulltime since 0.8.0 and it's always worked just fine for me. I've used it under Windows2k at work (when the machine is booted ..only for HR intranet crap) and I haven't had any issues.
*shrug* All I know is Mozilla doesn't kill computers Windows does. *giggle*
BTW. I'm not harshing on you about Windows..I'm just find it hard to believe Mozilla is the cause.
I tried Mozilla in MS Windows and it blew away my favorite MS Windows display--Program Manager in reduced format on top of the green screen. I have run this progman display on top of Win95 and win98 for 7 years now, without a problem. Tonite I decided to try Mozilla. I downloaded and installed it. It ran, kind of slowly, and then I couldn't shut it down, it crashed, and then when I gave the machine the 3 finger salute --I guess that's what I did, I don't really remember--progman will no longer display in partial screen. I like to have the progman, with some windows apps below, on the green screen, like DOS, My Computer, Windows Explorer. I beg again, anyone with Windows experience who can help me get this back working, please help--doug
