options ssl? This could be your problem. I assume you're sure they're using ssl, but are you sure what port they're running it on. I think fetchmail defaults to port 995 with pop3 ssl, but could it be they're running on the default pop3 port?! the "connection refused" generally means there was no service on the other end to receive the connection attempt //Anders
