**** " Imagine; all of everything that is or was, can be reduced to an equation less than one inch long !" Dr. M.Kaku *** Hi, Sorry this reply took so long to write. Yes The Gimp does have a way to do "red -eye reduction" , a couple of ways actually. But if you mean "is there a one click button to do it?" The answer is no. What is mainly involved is to make an oval selection of the offending eye , for both eyes hold down the control key. Then use the "hue-saturation" colour ballance to darken teh "red" part , always leave a bit of highlight .. and that is basically it ... The Gimp for Linux Bible is a good place to look for this sort of information. ( IDG Books www.idgbooks.com) There is also a groking the gimp set of documents that you can install from your Suse Cd ( all "current" versions of Suse , IIRC ) Also , and , of course the Official Gimp websites.. but I dont have those handy . hope that helps -- j afterthought : Reality is a temporary condition brought on by lack of drugs.
