Hi, For some reason, the SuSE PHP 4.0.6 RPM was built without the xml option (which I need). I downloaded the source RPM but I am unable to build the binary RPM. When I get to the -bi stage, I get the error: configure: error: Sorry Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.21647 (%install) The thing is, there doesn't seem to be any error indication in previous lines. I tried to run /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.21647 from the command line using sh -x /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.21647 to see if there are any errors but there were none. So now I have the following questions: 1) SuSE, why did you build the PHP RPM with the --with-xml=no option? 2) Any idea why the build from the SRPM fails? I don't want to post the messages I received from the build since it will be too big and useless, there were no error messages. 3) Has anyone successfully built the RPM with the --with-xml option?
