My mobo behaved like this when the fan didn't start. It was a sort of protection mechanism. Perhaps you should check that everything is connected properly? //Anders On Saturday 03 November 2001 22.41, Ben Rosenberg wrote:
Ok...all of you who have A7V133 motherboards..I need your help. I updated to the latest bios on Asus's site and all went very good..well until I set something in the bios that is causing it to start to boot up, but after about 1 second it just powers back off. I never see the post screen. There is suppose to be a jumper that lets you reset the bios to defaults...it doesn't exist. There are no jumper pins...
I've removed the CMOS battery so that with no power it wouldn't retain the settings...and unplugged the power supply. I've had no luck with this..the behavior is the same.
Any suggestions before I go buy another MB and possibly a faster CPU :)
I don't want to have to buy anything...but I can't seem to get a response from Asus's tech support.
Cheers,
