I think gnomeConfig.sh is the same as gnome-config. So when you have gnome-config you have gnomeConfig.sh. Just make a symbolic link:
ln -s /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-config /opt/gnome/bin/gnomeConfig.sh
And see if that helps. After you loaded that package from DVD that is.
Thanks again You were quite correct, I did as you suggested and everything was found okay. I did need to start finding other libraries, such as xml and libglade, which I've done. However when trying to run ./configure of gabber 0.8.4 I'm told that liblade needs to be version 1.10 or higher. The version I installed and ran make install on, was libglade 1.17 so I dunno. Anway I'll post this to the gabber list as well. I saw a thread here that someone else had a problem with gnomeConfig.sh so maybe this whole episode is starting to throw some light on his problem. BTW if any 7.2 users are using Gabber 0.8.4 and have it working, any chance of an RPM ? Thanks again. Mark A -- Mark R Annandale SuSE Linux 7.2 Pro KDE 2.2.1 KMail 1.3.1
