Good luck! -Steven
Problem is: I cannot even re write the partition data. When I run fdisk on hda, it exits (!!!!!) with "unable to read hda". So I cannot even edit data!
Then its either broken or your cable is not connected properly, tell us what does your BIOS say about "DRIVE 1" (/dev/hda) Does it read its geonomatry.?
it reads no geometry anymore.
Sorry I have to correct this. Beg your pardon. Bios READS C/H/S geometry. Red my other mail from today. I got a hint from a mate here which made me capable of reading from hda, but i am still unsure about some settings, read the other mail, i ask it all there. -- *º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨¨*¤ =Oliver@home= *º¤., ¸¸,.¤º*¨¨*¤ I http://www.bmw-roadster.de/Friends/Olli/olli.html I I http://www.bmw-roadster.de/Friends/friends.html I I http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VGAP-93 I I http://home.t-online.de/home/spacecraft.portal I
