Hi, I am running SuSE 7.2. I installed Oracle 9i recently and in the process needed to upgrade glibc to 2.2.2-53. Today I was trying to compile some C++ programs and noticed some linking errors. They were strange and seemed to be present even in the most basic of programs : -- PROGRAM #include <iostream> int main() { cout << "Hello World\n"; return 0; } -- -- OUTPUT
gcc -o test test.C /tmp/ccU8Sg2f.o: In function `main': /tmp/ccU8Sg2f.o(.text+0xf): undefined reference to `cout' /tmp/ccU8Sg2f.o(.text+0x14): undefined reference to `ostream::operator<<(char const *)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status --
This was working before I made the changes. Does anyone have any ideas what I might need to do to fix this? Thanks, -- There is always somebody better than you . . . -- Until you realize this you can never be the best. Stathy G. Touloumis Coder
