I need to know how to support php and mysql, i have a high speed line and gave a friend some space, I have no clue how to make my version of apache support php and mysql. I have the httpd.conf @ http://64.192.99.49/server/apache, php.ini @ http://64.192.99.49/server/apache, if you need any other docs email me, oh i am running 7.1
is the server currently supporting php? I also need a mysql database set up so I can work with that. If you can get that set up, you can forget about the ssi problem. "
Any reason why you've opted for PHP3? Believe me PHP4 is much better! To check that PHP is working create a file with the following in it: <?php phpinfo(); ?> (or <? phpinfo(); ?> for PHP4) Save this as test.php3 or test.phtml (or test.php if you're using PHP4) and then call it from your Web browser, e.g. http://64.192.99.49/server/apache/test.php If PHP is running you'll get loads of information. If you get a result remove the file; it's a security risk since it has lots of information about your server. Let us know how you get on Get PHP working first and then we can tackle mySQL tomorrow (it's late in the UK and I'm going to watch the GP qualifying now). Didn't you get the SSI working then?
