If you are using KDE 2.2.x. In the Control Center there is a submenu called Printing Manager and you can change the dithering in here if the drivers that you used to setup the printer allow it. Also, if you are using 7.2 SuSE compiled in the HP provided drivers into Ghostscript. Hope this helps. Hey all, I am wondering if there is some place in the CUPS printer setup to change the color dithering for my HP Deskjet 850C printer. Under the lprold/BSD setup, I seemed to be getting a better dither routine, but under CUPS, it just looks like standard ordered dithering. I would like to get Floyd-Steinburg or one of the higher end setups. Any thoughts, suggestions or other comments about how I find the settings to change this? end of line Tracer -- ---KMail 1.3.1--- SuSE Linux v7.2--- Registered Linux User #225206 /tracerb@sprintmail.com/ *Magic Page Products* *Team Amiga* http://home.sprintmail.com/~tracerb -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq and the archives at http://lists.suse.com
