I try to install qmail and that part works ;-) Now I want to be able to get e-mails via pop3 clients to the PCs. In order to start pop3d I use tcpserver: (/usr/local/bin/tcpserver -v -R -H -l 0 0 110 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup test1.elmit.com /bin/checkpassword /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir) The logfile shows me: tcpserver: fatal: unable to bind: address already used Who use my 110 port already???? I have disabled pop* in /etc/inetd.conf alrady! BTW, smptd uses a similar command and works without error. Any ideas? Is there a program what checks which program is useing this (or any other) port ??? bye Ronald Ronald Wiplinger (ÃQ¤¯¯Ç), CEO, ELMIT - The Solution Provider Tel. +886 2 8809-7980, Fax. +886 2 2809-0183, Mobile: +886 915 653-452 Net2Phone:8869550066, ICQ: 111651169 http://www.elmit.com http://www.wiplinger.org
