I have experienced the exact same problem, and there were a few others that chimed in with the problem when it was first mentioned on the list. The following is the response that SuSE gave to someone else on this list: <snip> For the SuSE Linux 7.3 release the SuSE help centre will work as usual. But we won't offer an update susehelp script to be compatible with KDE 2.2 updates for lower versions than SuSE Linux 7.3. With kindest regards Your SuSE Linux Team </snip> If it is a configuration problem, I can't find it. I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. Also, everything else I've used seems to work fine. It may be an obscure bug, or something so simple we'll feel really stupid when someone figures it out! :) MIke ------------------------------------------------------ Cleary_Mike@emc.com x6033 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Overflow on /dev/null, please empty the bit bucket. -----Original Message----- From: Martin Webster [mailto:mwebster@ntlworld.com] Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2001 3:19 PM To: Steven T. I have had problems with the SuSE help system on my 7.2 installation for a long time. When I go to contents and click on one of the icons (which are broken) I get an error "There appears to be a configuration error. You have associated konqueror with text/html, but it can't handle this file type." I get this on at least two of my setups.
I really wish SuSE had a bug tracking system.
What makes you think it's a bug? All works with my system and I see no one else complaining. You say that the icons are "broken" and the program reports a "configuration error". Maybe it's not a bug. Maybe you've mis-configured something.
