I have the exact same problem, and IIRC, SuSE support responded to someone on this list that basically, they weren't going to fix this for 7.2. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the impression I got. If I can find the email, I'll post the message..... I was thinking that maybe the upgrade to KDE 2.2 is what broke it, so they weren't going to supply a fix.....
