Folks,
I have a Geforce2 MX 32mb and i don't obtain success when i try to install it. Searching in a SDB i found this article:
http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/sliesch_behling_nvidia_configuration71.html
But i'm running the suse 7.2 this article is for 7.1...
My question is: Can i trust what this article says or have a better way to install the driver ?
Other question is: The article ask me to download the rpm packages from nvidia site. i went to this site: http://www.nvidia.com/us/ie/pg000014.htm and downloaded the packages in the session SuSE 7.2, thats' right ?
thanks in advance.
Installing the nVidia drivers is a peice of cake. My suggestion is to only
use the RPM for the GLX, and compile the Kernel driver source code yourself.
Here is what I do:
Download the GLX rpm for SuSE 7.2 from the nVidia site
Download the tar file for the kernel from the nVidia site.
run: rpm -Uvh --nodeps
