I had emailed the creator of Explore2fs about this, requesting a new version
of this program that will handle ReiserFS. Never got an email back.
I must admit, I've fallen in love with Reiser, BUT with no way to access the
FS from Windows, it makes me cry sometimes. :o(

Is there a program for Windows (like Explore2fs) that will allow a Win9x system read/write to the Reiser fs? --doug

Hello, Much mail is generated on this list about reiser fs. Can someone give me an honest evaluation of it's advantages compared to all the problems people have with it.
What problems? It just works as a filesystem should. (As long as we're not talking about problem reports from some really old versions, and as long as you're using 2.4.7.SuSE if you use the 2.4 kernel, earlier ones had some reiserfs performance problems since the developers initially (for 2.4 kernel) cared less for performance but more about stability)
assume I know nothing (i will RTFM.. :))
