I started with one giant ReiserFS partition, that didn't work. Tried breaking it up to smaller partition, mixed ext2 and Reiser, same problem. I've even tried to put a second, smaller HD in and use that as the boot-disk (1.2 GB, with a swap, 20 MB ext2 /boot and a ext2 /root partition. Still no joy.
Anyone offer suggestions, please?
Make sure that the BIOS has the disk in LBA mode.
