Hi.
I use SuSE 7.2, with a 100MB zip drive.
How do I create an Icon on the KDE desktop to mount/umount the zip drive ?
Right click on desktop and then select Create new->CD-Rom device or Floppy device. Then change the icon on the General tab and select the device from the drop-down list under Device. You will then have to add the mount point: /media/zip (for SuSE 7.2) and select a suitable unmounted icon. Zip drives often use the 4th partition, e.g. /dev/sdb4 (for SCSI). M
