Yes, you can but you need to process these to make them known to X. Look in the script: /usr/X11R6/bin/fetchmsttfonts The fonts must be located at: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype or /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 Op zaterdag 1 september 2001 20:10, schreef michael norman:

Hi
I have kde 2.2 latest version from SuSE running on 7.2 with xfree 4.1.0.Problem is if I open kmail or kword (from the latest koffice) in kde no fonts are listed. But if I open the some apps in Blackbox they are.
Any suggestions what might be the problem please ?
I'm using KDE 2.1.2, but you may want to try turning off antialiased fonts in the Control Centre.

Tried that and it has fixed the problem, but how can I have aa fonts available to all apps ?
