I need to activate a swap partition before starting the install as 16mb isn't enough to do a network install. How the heck do I do this? I can't find anywhere where I can drop out to a console, or any menu options allowing me to create/activate any swap.
It gets to "Loading data into ramdisk (17950kB)...", loads about 1/3 of the file and locks up. System is out of ram at this point
Hi - a quick'n'dirty work-around is to grab a copy of Tom's Root/Boot: http://www.toms.net/rb/ and fdisk & mkswap. When you get into the NFS install, it will find and activate the swap, so you can continue.
