Anybody in the UK using ntl's broadband cable system with Linux in the UK?
I want to use this service, but not if I can't use Linux!
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Cable-Modem/isps.html#AEN621 - it's a good general reference; I used it to get my Blueyonder (Telewest) service working OK. By and large, it's far easier getting a cable modem to work than ADSL; at least, from here; a cable modem presents itself as a normal ethernet connection, so you don't have to muck around with PPPoE.
