I was wondering if some problems of multiple sound card module.conf entries was at all common under 7.1 or if it may be just some funkiness in my setup. It took me awhile to finally start poking around in the modules.conf to see that these appartently superfluous lines were what was causing post installation error messages in the xconsole window after KDE startup....they appear to be duplicate alias entries for my card...
It's not just you. I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but it certainly doesn't harm your system. It can be helpful for people with multiple sound cards, but not in the majority of cases.
