You would need to upgrade to a SuSE 2.2.18 Kernel or higher in order to have this support. Then you use the usb-storage driver to access the drive.
The 2.2.14 kernel does have the usb-storage module, however, I can't seem to load it: root@ram1:/proc/bus/usb # modprobe usb-storage /lib/modules/2.2.14/misc/usb-storage.o: init_module: Device or resource busy /lib/modules/2.2.14/misc/usb-storage.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.2.14/misc/usb-storage.o failed /lib/modules/2.2.14/misc/usb-storage.o: insmod usb-storage failed and in /var/log/warn this: May 17 22:10:32 ram1 kernel: usb-storage: SCSI_HOST_TEMPLATE_SIZE does not match May 17 22:10:32 ram1 kernel: usb-storage: expected 100 bytes, got 96 bytes But if you're sure I have to upgrade my kernel to get any progress... :( -- Evert Jan van Ramselaar mail: evertjan@vanramselaar.net - web: http://www.vanramselaar.net PGP Fingerprint: 4F2A 56C4 F9C3 FA36 3ED8 DEC8 B50C D425 1202 DA95
