How about going to www.netscape.com and just downloading it. It does fix a few bugs that were major problems with Java and other security related things. You can go there and download it then do this: 1. Download to /tmp 2. cd to /tmp and type tar -zxvf <the name of the file> 3. cd into the directory it makes. 4. type ./ns-install 5. Once finished cd into /opt/netscape and remove the files with the .old extention..these would be the 4.76 files. 6. Remove the empty communicator directory in /tmp and the file you if you wish. 6. Remove the empty communicator directory in /tmp and the file you if you wish. 7. Log back into X as yourself and run Netscape. Say yes to the license agreement when it pops up and Netscape 4.77 will have been installed and it will read your .netscape directory for all your preferences. That's about it...no worries.
