You need to Masqurade as option set for all.....I believe SuSE builds the cf off a SuSE-xyz.mc search for that and run the macro and you should be set. Regards, Jon On Mon, 16 Apr 2001, Just Another SuSE User wrote:
I am running 7.0 with the default sendmail it ships with (8.11 I think). I have FQDN let's say server.domain.net. When a user sends mail, the sender's address appears as somebody@server.domain.net instead of somebody@domain.net. I have tried setting FROM_HEADER in /etc/rc.config, as well as trying several permutations of settings in /etc/rc.config.d/sendmail.rc.config. I always run /sbin/SuSEconfig after changes and even have rebooted a few times.
This machines accepts mail for the same domain and this works w/o problems. The machine is behind a PIX with a valid natted accross to an invalid. The FQDN is a valid DNS entry outside of the PIX as well as inside the PIX. (although different IP's on each side)
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
