I experienced this too.
Move the taskbar to where you want it, then logout but
make sure you check the, restore session check box
before logging out.
Then login and it should be where you left it.
Unfortunately the restore session option might make
the kde2 splash screen hang a little bit longer than
normal, that goes away as soon as you click on
something.

Hi,
I've just upgraded to KDE 2.1.1 and now the bar along the bottom is behaving strangely. When I log in the bar in about 1 width above the bottom of the screen. If I drag&drop it to one side, then back to the bottom it sits nicely along the bottom edge of the screen where it should.
Has anyone else seen this? And how do I get it to go to the right place first time?
