But the Palm is reading .pdf formats fine here, with the AportisDoc reader.

If you go under AbiWord, when you save a document, it gives you a chance to Save As a palm document and the extension is listed as .pdf...at least on my Mandrake box it is...

Nope. .pdf is Adobe Acrobat. Palm uses .pdb
