Everyone, I am having difficult in two (maybe three) areas of SuSE 7.0. The first deals with my new Handspring Visor and the USB synchronization port. I have already configured the /etc/rc.config.d/usb.rc.config to load the usb-serial module. Upon booting, SuSE detects the Handspring Visor and prints a configuration message for the serial modules; howeverm when attempting to open any of the /dev/ttyUSB* devices, I receive a "open: No such device error". Here is some output in ASCII format. <big snip>
Hmmm.. What are you using to open the devices? Are you trying to hotsync or get a ppp connection to the visor? Did you go over the mini-HOWTO? (HOWTO is located here) http://www.milosch.net/visor/ Tim
