THe rpms you downloaded are for 2.01 whereas the faq on the website was
for 2.0 as well as the script your looking for was for 2.0 which
unfortunately is no longer on their web/ftp sites. SuSE has also been
asked a few times on the website to maybe update the faq and provide a
update install script for those who are weary of doing an install of this
magnitude, unsure what may come of that.
If your willing to do the install, theres a couple possible routes for
you. You can either start installing each rpm package manually with the
following
rpm -Uvh <package name>
which has the advantage of upgrading a previously installed package to the
version of the package your installing. But if the package doesn't
currently exist the it will now which personally I don't like. Or you can
try the following
rpm -Fvh <package name>
which has the advantage of only installing the package if an earlier
version of the package you are currently installing exists, that way your
doing an actual upgrade rather then a install which could add things you
don't necessarily need.
The downside of the -F (freshen) command is that there could now be a
dependency issue with a new package from 2.01 which didn't get installed
by the -F because you didn't have an earlier version of the same package
installed from the 2.0 series of packages.
