Subject: Needed app.
Ok....here's one for Lenz and/or someone else to ponder. "Way back
when," I used a utility in QNX, UNIX, and OS/2, that was very useful
from command line. It's a change dir app., that would build a database
of ALL dirs on ALL drives and partitions. It's use was/is, for example,
<name of app> pics.....which in my case would cd to: /home/fm/pics. Does
such a utility exist for Linux, or does anyone have the source for UNIX
that can be ported? Sorry, I can't remember the name of the "critter."
