I am new to suse linux with 6.4. I get a bash command not known when I try to execute the java application "guavac" or "kaffe". Yast says that they are installed and I verifyed they are in their installed directories yet I get the bash response. can anyone tell me how to run these two applications?

Try to enter for example export PATH=/usr/lib/kaffe/bin:/usr/lib/guavac/bin:$PATH in your .bashrc Be advised that the java and javac commands in /usr/lib/kaffe/bin will be executed instead of the ones in /usr/lib/java/bin.
