Hi everyone. We have just bought a machine with a winmodem which SuSE does not recognise. Would it be OK to get a 'real' external modem too to use under Linux, or would I first have to remove the winmodem (thereby invalidating my guarantee). Thanks, Steve. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2614.3500" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi everyone.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We have just bought a machine with a winmodem which SuSE does not recognise.
