Hi all, I'm trying to get the jdk1.3 beta for linux up and running on my suse 6.4 platform and encountered an error saying I needed a glibc 2.1.2 or greater for it to run. I went to ftp.suse.com and found only libc.so.6 so went looking elsewehere and I found something like this at kernal.org with details about compiling it and all for linux. So... are these the same and I only need to ignore the warning, or do I need to either find a compiled binary or, compile it myself? Being a newbie to linux this seems kinda big time stuff already. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
