Hi I have a server with to nics running 6.2 on original kernel, well, I have attached dhcp server in second nic (eth1 , 192.168.1.0 ) and dhcrelay server in first nic (eth0 , 192.168.0.0 ), the rc.config is : START_DHCPD="yes" DHCPD_INTERFACE="eth1" START_DHCRELAY="yes" DHCRELAY_SERVERS="192.168.1.0" In eth1 dhcp is running both linux and windows machine, but in eth0 only win machines can run. In this interface, if I boot a linux machine dhcp server makes the dhcpoffer but clients seems like are refusing the offering: clients /var/log/messages: ------------------ ... amba dhclient : DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 6 samba dhclient : DHCPOFFER from 192.168.0.1 samba dhclient : DHCPOFFER isn't satisfactory ... server /var/log/messages: ------------------- ... router dhcrelay : ignoring BOOTREQUEST with giaddr of 192.168.0.1 router dhcpd : DHCPDISCOVER from 01:02:03:04:05 via 192.168.0.1 router dhcpd : DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.99 to 01:02:03:04:05 via 192.168.0.1 ... I have try to add a new route to /etc/route.conf like is said in sdb but I have obtain the same result. What I'm making wrong? erver /etc/route.conf --------------- 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth0 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth1 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth1 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth0 Thanks in advance ! -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
