I'm running SuSE 6.4 on a server for my home LAN. The cable modem is connected to eth0, and the server is connected via eth1 to the hub. I recently traded the hub for a switch (autosensing 10/100), and then noticed this message sequence in my warn file: eth1: NE2000 found at 0x300, using irq 12 [normal, I think] Hw. address read/write mishap 0 Hw. address read/write mishap 0 eth1: trigger_send() called with the transmitter busy Things seem to be OK (other than my pnp sound card slipping its irq moorings...). Does anyone know what the "Hw..." and "trigger_send()" messages mean? I'm getting out on the net ok, but I didn't see messages like this until after I changed to the switch.
