I had SuSE-6.3 running on my desktop for ages. It had the KDE-1.1.2 desktop which worked OK, except for a rather annoying bug. I always have an xosview running in the bottom corner, which is restored by the session management when I log back in. The thing is, sometimes, perhaps one time in five, the xosview either doesn't come back or it comes back in the wrong place. I lived with this for ages. When I got a laptop I put SuSE-6.4 on it, and this has never suffered the same problem. xosview always comes back just as I want. I figured it must be a bug which was fixed in 6.4, and when I upgraded my 6.3 box to 6.4 I expected the problem to go away. It didn't. So the question is, why would this problem show itself on an upgraded 6.4 but not on a freshly installed 6.4? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
