Does anyone have experience installing qmail on SUSE 6.4? I've found that when I compile and install the RPM's I'm left with unsatisfied dependencies (common problem.) My only concern is that these dependency packages seem to be unique to the redhat distribution. ie: shadow-password, initscripts, and chkconfig. I would go ahead and compile a non RPM source, but I would rather use the patched src.rpm version. If someone could give me tips, it would help very much.
Get the tarballs and compile virgin source. It works much better that way. Dan's code is pretty clean and if it won't compile, it's likely you have bigger problems than the source code. -- Brad Shelton On Line Exchange http://online-isp.com -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
