The error msg tells you all you need to know. In this case the compressed kernel image is too big, so use "make bzlilo" instead. This will use bzip compression resulting in a smaller compressed image. On Fri, 23 Jun 2000, Agustina Buccella wrote:
Hi,
While I am compiling a new kernel using the make zlilo command, I get the follow message:
Tools/build bootsect sect compressed/vmlinux.out CURRENT > zImage Root device is (3,3) Boot sector 512 bytes setup is 2307 bytes System is 615 Kb System is too big. Try using bzImage or modules make[1]: *** [zImage]Error 1 make: *** [zlilo] Error 2
The boot filesystem, using the df command has this capacity:
Available: 3346 53%
Any Idea?
Any Solution:?
Thank in advance.
