Hi all, I have a Lan of Win98 boxes, a Redhat 6.2 intranet server/router and a Suse 6.4 Firewall/ISDN gateway.. Both boxes have the module ip_masq_ftp loaded . There's only a forward masquerading rule on the Redhat box , on the SuSE box I am using firewals the ipchains based firewall, and have INCOMING_HIGH_PORTS_TCP = yes enabled .
From the Win98s( also the Redhat ) everything works great , except FTP .. I have tried both Active & Passive modes .. but FTP continues to behave strangely ..:
Sometimes the File Uploads stop at 99 % , sometimes the file uploads OK, but the remote ls listing stalls after the transfer .... I am at my wits end.. my users have to conect to the net by modem, to upload files to our hosting companie's Webserver .. Is there anything i can try ?
