I have a question, before I do something wrong.I have upgrade my SuSE 6.3 to 6.4,by FTP-server.Right now,I want to get KDE2 to work.I have read that i first need to make a directory, and so on.But my question is,if I take this upgrades,by rpm, would it work? Will everything be right at once,or do I need to build it by my own?
If you mean the beta KDE2 than you have the option to get the binary rpm and correct me if I am wrong there are KDE 1.90 binaries for SuSE you may want to check the www.kde.org web iste to have a better understanding. Question will it work well this is beta release 1 (KDE 1.90) till Sepmtember every four weeks there will be another KDE 1.9x version rill everything will be frozen. It is upto you to play with it every four weeks.
