I tried the xhost + and still I'm getting the Xlib: errors.
However, if I start an X-emulator on my NT workstation, export DISPLAY to that of my NT box and launch comanche, it works.
Just can't run it locally.
Seems just like in my case. What are the relevant docs to look for to get the Xauthorization right? I think that this would be the key to solving the problem. By the way this problem only started appearing in the more recent SuSE distributions. I am currently running 6.4. Unfortunately, I don't remember when the last time was when I had run xhost as I usually do all my networking X-apps via ssh.
