First of all; please take a look at the most recent security announcement on the SuSE home page. Now, down to stupid question... How do I build a kernel for another machine, one which has modules compiled as well? The 'other' machine is a firewall (i.e. it has no more on it than is necessary for daily operations), with little memory (8M) and disk (~200M). The kernel image is a no-brainer; but what about the equivalent of make modules_install ?? -- Bernd Felsche - Innovative Reckoning Perth, Western Australia -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
