Hello Yesterday I downloaded gIDE and began to compile it only to find that I needed libglade.rpm. I've downloaded that and installed it. When I do "./configure" with gide-0.3.0 I get the following..... "checking for gnome-config.... no checking for gnomeConf.sh file in usr/local/lib..... not found configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install" did whereis glade and it came back with... /usr/bin/glade /usr/share/glade. I've also found /opt/gnome/lib/libgladeConf.sh I think that what I need to do is to create a link between libgldeConf.sh and something else ?? Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong and how to correct it ? I've tried the Gnome list and all they know about is Red Hat.
